Identification can be incomplete
Receipt abbreviations may not identify a manufacturer or variety. Labels, barcodes, and lot codes can be hidden or unreadable in cart photos. The service can miss products or read text incorrectly.
Official data changes
Agencies publish and revise notices on their own schedules. Our index normally refreshes daily, but an upstream outage can delay it. A visible warning appears when a source has not synced successfully within 48 hours.
“No matching notice” is not “safe”
An unmatched result means only that the confirmed details did not match our indexed official notices at that moment. It does not assess spoilage, contamination not yet announced, storage conditions, allergies, or individual medical risk.
